words and music

  • Judith Wrigth Centre of Contemporary Arts (map)

All dark no begging
No giving no words
No sense no need...

Sloth, love, ageing, and the meaninglessness of words themselves are explored in this enigmatic play by Samuel Beckett with music scored by Morton Feldman. Featuring actors Helen Howard and Michael Fulcher, this performance will take place in the dark to preserve the sentiment of a radio play and will be followed by Feldman’s brilliant Why Patterns as a postlude.

Presented by the Queensland Music Festival and the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts.
